Henrietta Hotel is an address founded in friendship new and old. Childhood friends Romee de Goriainoff, Pierre-Charles Cros, and Olivier Bon join Xavier Padovani collaborate once again—this time to open their first London-based hotel, just a stone’s throw from their wine bar Compagnie Des Vins Surnaturels in Neals Yard and flanked by their two cocktail bars, Experimental Cocktail Club in Chinatown and Joyeux Bordel in Shoreditch. Henrietta Hotel is a new kind of locale, bathed in Covent Garden’s rich history while taking influence from London’s heady energy. Designed by Dorothee Meilichzon, Chzon weaves collective passions for food, wine, cocktails, and design. Its 18 unique bedrooms are a quiet escape set above Henrietta, the restaurant led by superstar chef Ollie Dabbous. On the heels of the group’s first hotel—Le Grand Pigalle in Paris—the spirit of bed and beverage once again reigns, this time in the heart of Covent Garden, next to London’s best restaurants, bars, theaters and museums. The menu by Sylvain Roucayrol is inspired by southwest France & Basque country featuring snacks & small plates, alongside a list of French Pastis and larger, family style dishes. The cocktail menu conceived by drink historians Jared Brown and Anistatia Miller is a journey of the location's storied past. Paying tribute to the former gardens of Covent Garden, a glass roof encapsulates the mezzanine of Henrietta. Terracotta, oak, and marble sit alongside a flora and fauna atmosphere to delight the senses.
